'Why Not?' Video PSA
Keene State College (New Hampshire) produced the winning PSA, "Why Not?" during the 2016 Red Ribbon Week Campus Video PSA Contest.
As the winner of the contest, the school received a plaque and $1,000 to support their campus’s drug abuse prevention efforts.
Michelle Morrow, Ph.D., Coordinator of Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention, Treatment, and Education Services, at Keene State College said, “Winning the Red Ribbon Week video PSA contest was a tremendous surprise and a great honor! The video’s message, “Why Not,” is intended to demonstrate the positive choices and behaviors of college students. "Winning this contest, and the monetary award we receive from it, will allow us to build on our “Why Not” campaign this semester. We plan to create some educational materials centered on the “Why Not” message, and we may even create some additional PSAs as well!”
