(The Arkansas Traveler) On Oct. 28, the University of Arkansas Police Department (UAPD) accepted all excess drugs and used needles with no questions asked for Drug Takeback Day.
Twice a year, the UAPD joins the Drug Enforcement Agency’s nationwide efforts to assist people in getting rid of unused or outdated drugs.
In light of National Drug Takeback Day, the UAPD assisted students and Northwest Arkansas residents who wanted to get rid of expired, outdated or unwanted prescription drugs.
