Rally for Recovery 2018

Every year in September, hundreds of people gather at the State Capitol to celebrate Recovery Month at the Wisconsin Voices for Recovery Rally for Recovery. This year, we will be hosting our 5th annual event to celebrate the joys of recovery, honor those we have lost to addiction and their family members, and educate the public about the realities of addiction as a medical condition. This year’s event theme is Community Resilience: Recovering Together because we know that it is only when we join together and support each other as a community that change can happen. Joseph Green, a motivational speaker, poet, and change-agent, will be our featured speaker and share with us his moving spoken word and a message of hope and healing. We will also hear from people in recovery across the state of Wisconsin and family members who have been affected by addiction and recovery.
