¿Qué son?

Depresivos para ayudar a dormir, aliviar la ansiedad y los espasmos musculares, y para prevenir convulsiones. Nombres comerciales: Fiorina®, Pentothal®, Seconal®, Nembutal®. 

Nombres en la calle

Barbs, Block Busters, Christmas Trees, Goof Balls, Pinks, Red Devils, Reds & Blues, Yellow Jackets

¿Cómo se toman?

Se traga una pastilla o se inyecta un líquido.

¿Cómo afecta al cuerpo?

  • Desinhibición, alivio de la ansiedad, somnolencia, deterioro de la memoria, el juicio y la coordinación, irritabilidad. 
  • Paranoia y pensamientos suicidas. 
  • Se adquiere tolerancia con facilidad, por lo que cada vez se requieren dosis mayores. 
  • Es fácil que ocurra una sobredosis y puede ser fatal. Síntomas: Respiración poco profunda, piel escamosa, pupilas dilatadas, pulso débil y rápido, coma.
