National Take Back Day

The Drug Enforcement Administration has scheduled the 22nd National Prescription Drug Take Back Day for April 30, 2022. The most recent take back day on October 23, 2021, brought in close to 745,000 pounds of unused, expired, and unneeded medications across the country.

The upcoming take back day is an opportunity for the entire campus community, including students, faculty, staff, and neighbors, to bring unused, unneeded, or expired prescription drugs to authorized collection sites for proper disposal.

DEA, the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, and NASPA Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education hope you will join us in this effort by encouraging your campus to participate in the upcoming National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
